Original Samples
I used two of my own original tracks as part of the general ambience--"Melissa" and "Fairview", from my disfish.com release "Collin County".
Process
I morphed the lute into a drone.
I morphed the lute/drone, two of my ambient songs, and the "Wailing" vocal into an atmospheric backing accompaniment, into which I mixed the eightprime vocal. Then I added the Teru loop to aim for something a bit less ambient.
Other Notes
With heavy reverb, now omitted, the entire piece has a lovably "sung in a soda can" feel about it.
