Indelible Choices: The DNA of Action
featuring Rocavaco’s SackJo9000

Decided to experiment with resynthesing audio samples by modifying Susan’s voice using Trash 2 and Vocal Synth as well as loading Susan’s voice in the HARMOR synthesizer.

The song employs many voice samples from Rocavaco’s Susan9000 Instrument pack:

(1) Bass note is a A2 pitched down 12 steps and run 1/2 dry through Ozone Vocal Synth
(2) Backbeat hit is two short clips from different parts of the A3 audio sample then run through Ozone Trash 2.
(3) Low synth MIDI pattern, that sounds somewhat like a distorted guitar, uses A2 loaded into and resynthsized by Harmor then run through Ozone Vocal Synth
(4) Chord pops are a stack of clean A2, C2 and E2 voice notes using a pulsating technique. Susan’s voice sustains the 3 notes and the gain is pulsed from 100% to zero over the duration of an eight note.
(5) MIDI riff, that sounds like a synth flute, uses C2 loaded into and resynthsized by Harmor then run through Ozone Trash 2
(6) High pitched MIDI riff, that sounds like a voice, uses uses A3 loaded into and resynthsized by Harmor then run through Gross Beat

Susan’s Indelible Choices: Choices May Change II clips were added.

ElRon’s guitar, drums, horns and various synthesizers were added.
