Briefly, Us

With the help of a Latin-to-English online dictionary, I learned that “Breves dies hominis” is literally “Brief”, “Day”, “Man”. Further searching revealed that the phrase occurs in some medieval biblical passage (which would explain the Gregorian-like sounding pell, beautifully sung by Makemi). In attempting this remix, I wasn’t thinking about religion but about humanity, about the fragility and impermanence of life. It’s when things are finite that we are more mindful that its precious.
p.s. beautiful samples to work with, thanks to remaxim.
