Earlier today I tried to create a different account with which to upload some tunes that are somewhat different from my usual style, and I did so using a variation of my regular email address with a text and plus sign (“+”) prefix, so that I would know what was sent to the new account.

It worked. Sort of. I thought it might reject the E-Mail address because of this account, but it didn’t. But I have received no confirmation E-Mail containing my password and because of that, I can’t log in so I can change the E-Mail address to something that will work.

I made sure this wasn’t a problem on my end before registering by sending myself an E-Mail. Is there any way this can be fixed? The name of the new account was “Wakesleeping”.

I think you might have to delete this account and try again. Next time changing the email address after you receive the confirmation.
