excellent job. very pleasant listening. it would have sounded even better if trifonic would have released dry versions of their vocal pellas with no fx. u know what i mean ;o)

This style is not normally something I’d listen to for long when going through the cc submissions, but there’s something about this mix that’s really fresh.

The pella has been used lots on this site and those who have been around long enough to have seen this mixed thousands of times will know that sometimes the production of mixer is bypassed because the vocal has been heard lots.

I’ve really enjoyed your mix though. You’ve made the pella sound as fresh as the day it hit ccmixter and that guitar lead / solo toward the middle of the mix is diamond. Really well done .

scott’s right about this being mixed a bazillion times. a lot of those mixes are ‘trick’ heavy and miss the magic of the pell. but you’ve done it very clean & totally listenable. tone on each instrument is stone-cold perfect, & i’d be excited about going to hear a band that could do this. and i enjoyed hearing what’s possible with this song.

Oh I love her voice, real nice to hear it done this way, and as Panu said your sound is pretty much perfect to my ears.

Man u have took this pella to a new dimension… It sounds like this song was made for this arragenment and not viceversa.

Ur sound, as Scoot saids, is very very fresh, and the guitar solo itself is a master piece…

U have done a ver excellent job.. congratulations man, u should feel proud about this!!

Thanks everyone for the reviews / comments

The guitar solos are always the last thing to do so I loop the section, improvise over it a few times, hope something turns up and then keep the fist take.
