A gentle sway, like that boat sailing on that same water that Brian Eno and “Julie with…” sailed—the waves float gently, and we rock along with the sway of the water and the sound. It’s on a time travel to place in the 1970s, where tapestry lines and Laura Nyro’s ghost get the holy ghost across with the magic which is simple melodic fun with a great ‘pella.

When the organ and chorus pick up,
I’m one Hammond past ecstasy—it’s a sound that fits very well, as it if belonged with this ‘pella.

I pause a bit to wonder if the bass should be “up” slightly in the mix, not that I personally have any such scalpel-like control with my own mixes, but because the rove of the bass seems to important to me in the great scheme of things.

One thing I like about this mix is that you subordinate the mixter’s “ego” to the coolness of the song, designing an accompaniment which shows off this ‘pella with a simple, unadorned charm. Becuase on the remix listener’s voyage, one comes to appreciate the simple sailboats which sail with an open blouse/sail upon an open sea, under an empty yet surprisingly rich sky.

first of all, great arrangement. I’m hearing a weird blip at the very end of the piano loop, which isn’t really noticeable when the arrangement fills out with the organ and harmony vocals, but seems more noticeable in the early verse sections. a minor nit considering the scope of your outstanding opus arrangement. Perfect outro too d00d!

These samples are some of the best technically and musically I have heard on this site and you have done them more than justice with this very nice piece of work.
