I really like the contrast of the acoustic and the electronic…..but there seems to be a buzz on the vocals during the electro parts…was that intentional?

Otherwise wonderful.

Thanks! Yes, it was intentional, to create a contrast between verse and chorus also in the vocals. The buzz was even more prominent at first, but I toned it down a bit. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out as good as I had hoped.

Haha!

I like how the guitar player changes so quickly his acoustic guitar with an electric one or did there played two of them and one of could make a short (cigarette) break? ;-)

Yes, I have employed two of them, but they are close relatives. I know, I know, you wouldn’t say just by listening to them, but they really are. I wanted to make it an all-acoustic song, but he only wanted to play if I invited his relative too. Musicians…..;-)

Nice production and a good idea to contrast the acoustic with the electric.

As Narva said the vox on the electric parts sounds out of place. I think it would have been much better to continue with the same DSP on the vox throughout. The contrast between the two guitar parts would have come across better with the vox being the common thread between the two.

Well if it was my mix that’s what I would do!! But its yours and its your choices!!

Still for me a great sounding mix.

You’re probably right. Something to take into account during the final tweaking phase. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
