Your description leads me to see this sound as the implosion — the ambient sounds a vast internal landscape and with the reversed whisper of my voice suggesting pulling it in. Excellent! I am so glad that you are participating in The White Cube Remix Project.

Thank you so much for inviting me over there in Facebook Land — I’ve been so busy with an IT project I hadn’t nosed around over here in ccM to see what the hubbub was about.

I enjoyed working on this very much. It’s sort of a return to why I got involved with electronic music in the first place, and it’s always fun to pay homage to influencers.

The more I listen the more it reminds me of Eno’s Ambient 4/On Land, “Lizard Point,” although not nearly as complex.

Thanks again for reaching out.

This has the welcome effect of slowing my bio-system down. I should think that rather beneficial for watching ideas hang. Nice one.

Thank you, Speck. Slowing down the system is a wonderful way to discharge some static.

… if the daemon crashes and nobody notices, did it really crash? :-)

Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. Less was more. I found myself taking things out instead of adding them.

Oh you beat me to the reversed vox version!!! I just couldn’t figure out how to apply it correctly yet. You however succeeded where I could now. very nicely done!

Yeah! I KNEW I had to be fast. I like the vocals front wards very much but there was something very vestigial about the instrumental track and I didn’t want to force reality on it. Thank you so much.

Whoa. Nice. I very much appreciate how you treated the reversed vocals - it could have become a gimmick, but now instead it’s a part of the track - a sort of whisper in the background - a rhythmic element.

Very nice. I like this a lot.

gracias. After I listened to it in the course of making it, it’s plain how appealing the rhythm of speech is — front-wards or backwards.

Mystery and evocation. You can’t escape them in the winter mix. If you can put your finger on it, then perhaps it’s not truly living. This mix breathes, and eludes capture.
Very nicely done.

Wonderfully eerie and ominous. (Even backwards, SJ sounds beguiling!) xxxx

You should hear “Til Molly” which is about the Steppin Razor http://share.ovi.com/media/romancito.MeloMarLounge/romancito.10014 - an early effort.

You’ve created a beautiful claustaphobic world here. I do see he Lizard Point comparison. Funny you should mention Cluster. I few days ago I left a message for colab that his mix reminded me of Cluster. But enough prog-rock geekism. I’ve enjoyed your singing and I like what you’ve done here wothout singing.

heh re prog rock geekism. I’ve spent a lot of time re-exploring that stuff - some holds up and some sure doesn’t!

Thanks for the compliments.
