Funky tune. I agree, I really like Anji Bee’s vox right now, they’re kinda sexy when she talks. Chorus is very singalongable (like thats a word!?). Good move with the piano stabs when the talking comes through. There’s that cool 70’s vibe coming through also… Super cool track.

cool! great reinvention of this song, it’s really nothing like the original. and i love the name you picked from the text of the lyrics. if i find some time, i might try to add some backing vox onto this mix for fun. :D

Pressed for time??

I liked the intro and the guitars but would have like to have seen you develop the song more.

Good different take that works well with the vox.

haha, no i was in no hurry, unless you count my ADD. i kind of hear what you’re saying but honestly, i liked the arrangement enough to walk away from it, and sometimes that’s more important (at least to me) than spending too much time adding more. i guess it’s my zen-like, less is more approach. :)

the vocal track basically consisted of a verse, a chorus, and a spoken word section. i suppose i could have repeated either the verse or chorus (or both) and added a bridge and that would have added maybe another minute and a half to 2 minutes, but i didn’t really feel it was necessary to get the point across that i was trying to make. i didn’t want to overwhelm the spoken word section with too much in the arrangement (hence the piano stabs and filtered strings). and i guess i could have added more stuff within each section but like i said, personally i know when it’s time to say when for me. usually. if i haven’t been drinking too much.

but thanks for listening! i really enjoyed your opus for what it was worth. :)

Cool interpretation, I really like the rock taste and percussions. Vocal fits nicely, so you got a rocky and coherent remix here. Nice job in my opinion.
