love the main beat/theme a lot esp. how you use her voice as an instrument. There are some fantastic moments in this. cool.

(mute? you mean deaf? sorry if I’m being lame)

no I meant not able to speak/sing. I deaf mute is one who cannot hear or produce sound I think- I was using a more obscure reference, mute swan, mute trumpet, mute. I have just grown a little tired of my voice as of late, so it was nice to work with a completely different timbre.

it’s great - speaking selfishly you should sample/remix more from the site - as long as it doesn’t slow down your pells ;)

It is 1am, I am mixing, or at least thinking about it. I trade sleep for music. Tomorrow I am up at 6 am driving my son to school…

I’ve got to add to the complimentary din here; it is a source of wonderment that you not only have great skill in composition and performance, but a unique and worthy ear as a producer/remixer. We all tend to be self-critical, workaholic perfectionists to one degree or another; I’m glad you enjoy being so active around here!

This mix really works! I’ve had that Jovica sample in my “freesound” folder for a long time, thinking that it could be used in a great way. You’ve really shown the way to use it. I like the way you’ve cacaded vocals to give the mix body, and the way the synth/drone gives malodic substance to the mix. It’s a 6+ minute song, but when it’s over it feels as if it’s just begun. Great work. Your mixing is really special on this one.
