Probably the best sounding debbizo vocal I’ve heard in a mix. Did you have to work at that? I know I’d use more of her vocals if the recordings were of a higher quality. And I really like the deep slow atmosphere you’ve created. Cool piece.

Thanks
I know the problem, but for a change this was a good recording. The only thing I did was removing some low frequencies because they where interfering with my sounds.
I’ve listened to some more sung pella’s and they all have a pretty good quality.

So I wonder why that is?

Thank you for the remix AA. It is lovely and I agree that you have done wonders with the recording. I am still working at the quality of my recordings and I’m thinking of buying a Shure external mic to use with my Zoom H4n digital recorder. I now try to do my recordings in a walk in wardrobe/cupboard to reduce the background noise, but I think this recording was made before I came up with that solution. Also, I am not a trained singer so I think I am to blame for being out of tune ;-)

Thanks deb. But I have to say the quality of your recording was very good. And the little bit of noise that was in there dissapears in the mix.

Yeah but that’s to easy, the challenge for me is to make in tune. I’ve just buyed a magazine with a lot of tips about it so I will try to fix that in the up comming week.
It’s one of the things I still have to learn and this is a good case

It’s good to learn new techniques and it will be great to hear if you can make it in tune. I have a vst plug in called autotalent that might help with the tuning, but I haven’t worked out how to use it properly yet.

Oh cool site have to try some of that.
But for this pell I have to go to cool edit/audicity to work on the parts one by one.

Very cool atmospheric creation! As for out of tune vocals- my bandmate and I usually throw my vocals into a program called Melodyne. It’s amazing. You can fix the smallest irregularities with it. In fact, it sounds so good that we sometimes pitch-shift vocals into different octaves for fun. Now, I don’t have as fancy a set-up at home, so I don’t usually use anything for solo projects- I just try to sing in pitch. ;)
