Probably the best sounding debbizo vocal I’ve heard in a mix. Did you have to work at that? I know I’d use more of her vocals if the recordings were of a higher quality. And I really like the deep slow atmosphere you’ve created. Cool piece.

Thanks
I know the problem, but for a change this was a good recording. The only thing I did was removing some low frequencies because they where interfering with my sounds. I’ve listened to some more sung pella’s and they all have a pretty good quality. So I wonder why that is? |

Thank you for the remix AA. It is lovely and I agree that you have done wonders with the recording. I am still working at the quality of my recordings and I’m thinking of buying a Shure external mic to use with my Zoom H4n digital recorder. I now try to do my recordings in a walk in wardrobe/cupboard to reduce the background noise, but I think this recording was made before I came up with that solution. Also, I am not a trained singer so I think I am to blame for being out of tune ;-)

Thanks deb. But I have to say the quality of your recording was very good. And the little bit of noise that was in there dissapears in the mix.

I’ve just buyed a magazine with a lot of tips about it so I will try to fix that in the up comming week. It’s one of the things I still have to learn and this is a good case |

Very cool atmospheric creation! As for out of tune vocals- my bandmate and I usually throw my vocals into a program called Melodyne. It’s amazing. You can fix the smallest irregularities with it. In fact, it sounds so good that we sometimes pitch-shift vocals into different octaves for fun. Now, I don’t have as fancy a set-up at home, so I don’t usually use anything for solo projects- I just try to sing in pitch. ;)
