Fantastic backing track Mr. Soul! Did you do remixes before you joined Ccmixter? You seem to spit them out very easily!

Bombala’d. Nicely done CSoul. Love what you’ve created with the samples you’ve selected! A cool east indian flavour… very spicy for the ears.

masterpiece (i think this is the first time i’ve used that word on this site). a film should be created around this mix. your musical variations perfectly paired with deb’s visual spoken word. this is a beautiful production (great guitar work in solo section) - your sounds are gorgeous. i’m quite speechless.

I like this a lot. Really cool blend of elements.

Literally the only thing I would recommend is to make the vocals more of a centrepiece - both literally by having them in the centre of the mix, and also that they sometimes end up behind the instrumentals.

That said - this is a very, very good mix of sources. Nice job.

Fantastic — rich, exotic — a sonic journey — a dream — wandering — a memory.

Congrats on the ed pick! and Bravo!

Great vibe and theatrical feel to your backing mix. Hypnotic guitars mesh well with the female vox. And I like how you break up the story through music shifts and dynamics.

It’s like Cirque De Soleil meets the Prairie Home Companion show. :P
