Uses samples from:

Tools I Used

Software: Mashcine (my one and only true love), Guitar Rig 4, Pro Tools LE, and Battery 3 (mainly just use it to trigger samples)

Hardware: M-Box, Arira Pro II (my favourite 60[s bass), Peavey Raptor, 80's Jackson Kelly (my second love), a cruddy violin and keyboard

Samples I Used

Queenie's "Artificial" pella, a few Maschine kits/samples, personal string samples, harpsichord samples

Process

Umm... Laid a dub backbeat under vocals, which I pitch cleaned and time corrected manually for the most part. Recorded bass track, laid cello and harpsichord down before composing violins 1 and 2. Once that was all mixed, I realized that I had issues with the music in G harmonic minor and the vocals in a strange phrygian mix, so that took tweaking. Once everything was straight, recorded guitars, programmed studio drums and spent a few days mixing and tweaking. Viola!

Other Notes

Props to Queenie for being awesome.
