Impressive amount of work musically speaking, and the mix of heavy and delicate is well-matched to Queenie’s vibe. As far as production values, other than wanting maybe a bit of reverb in places to give things a bit of spatial “breathing room” and a smidgen more oomph in the final mastering (my personal taste, nothing more), sounds balanced and clean!

The vocal here is a bit ‘dramatic’, and deserves a suitably cinematic backing. You’ve provided a complex and interesting melody and great synthy-stringy sounds to deliver a backing that works. The mix of vocals and sound is very fine in that neither overpowers the other. With both, I longed, just a bit, for a few fx to be used to give them a more dynamic quality, as the mix makes them both sound a bit restrained—I’m not sure if a multi-max effect to rove the sound a bit would do the trick, or perhaps even a finger-light use of a corrosion plug to give it a little edgier sound.
I really like all the “instruments” you have at work here. This is a fun listen! |
