BBE Music and ccMixter
We are pretty proud to welcome BBE Music and the One Self collective collaboration to the Creative Commons Sample Pool. To get things rolling, BBE is releasing the studio tracks, including the a cappellas from DJ Vadim's "Soundcatcher" album under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 license. (BBE Music is not officially affiliated with Creative Commons or ccMixter, we just think they define cool and want to use their samples.)
Remixers
Download the samples on this page, create new remixes, create an account here at ccMixter (if you don't have one already) and upload your remix here. BBE will be collecting the best remixes and playing on them on the BBE radio shows in London and Spain, incorporating them into videos and other One Self projects.

Creative Commons, BBE Music, DJ Vadim and ccMixter began their relationship several years with a Call For Remixes for “Kill Kill Kill/Talk to Me.” Several of our remixes were subsequently featured on the “Soundcatcher” extras CD.The sources for the entire Soundcatcher album are still under Creative Commons licenses and can be downloaded from here. Since then BBE Music has put music from Bucky Jonson into the Commons ( download here) and. as of June 2009, has put the DJ Vadim’s latest album Imaginashun into the Commons as well. Download those tracks here. |
