If you load your reverb with IR files and like to browse convolution reverb options, checkout University of York web site OpenAIR, which provides for demo, download and sharing of CC BY 4.0 licensed audible impulse responses.
All IR files can auditioned with voice and drums, detailed technical information is provided and most have pictures of location and mic placement. Would like a database of barroom, dance hall and road house IR files but this is a cool IR for auralization site nonetheless. If you don’t have a convolution reverb VST plugin and wish to noodle with IRs, there are free 32-bit and 64-bit plugins available. There are also multiple sites providing free IRs like https://www.voxengo.com/impulses/. For the really ambitious, homemade samples can be used. I noticed a lot of individuals on the net sharing samples of guitar and bass cabinets. |
