My name is David. I am a new user … and not really a musician or sound engineer.

Those of you who listen to a lot of audio books may have come across my Pinkerton Files steampunk alt-history series that was narrated by Michael Hogan from Battlestar.

So I’m a writer, of sorts.

I had this idea. What if we found a way to integrate narrative storytelling into clubs / dance halls? … a kind of on-going audio story that got blended into beats/samples and DJs could mix into their sets.

I have been playing around with content from golden age comic books and found the mix of romance, fantasy and sci fi to be a lot of fun.

With some recurring characters, setting and themes it could be a sort of dancehall soap opera.

Wondered if anyone on ccMixter would be interested in chatting about it.
