Hard to believe that’s nearly two years ago sounds a bit rough to me now, I think yours is better, I hardly ever listen to any of my stuff after it’s finished, probably just as well.

Well i’m honored to read that from you, Sir! Thanks. Anyway, listening your mix there’s that “crisp sound” that i can only dream on - …for the moment :)

The crispness is just down to the final EQ I compress and EQ each channel individually and get it to sound as clean as possible then on the master bus just tweak it a bit with some final EQ and compression. Is you want a nice sounding EQ try this
I’m now using multiband compression which is cleaner again but this track was just a single band compressor/limiter.

I do the same and thats makes me glad (i finally took the right way :D ). I compress and eq each channel individually, but not as good as you, Sir. Need more practice …and better equipment, surely.

Thanks so much for that link. I love trying new vsts. I believe this must be a great eq for the master channel (mostly).
