Listening to this is as close as one can get to a live performance without actually being there. A small intimate club somewhere in Southern USA. Good Job

I took recommend before the listening this track. Unreal dm plays Calling Sister Midnight: near the perfect solution. But the sound of drums could be better.
Keep the blues alive! You can do that. |

How long you guys been together? Call me if you ever want to jam. (In North America, somewhere?). I suggest you guys give the singer whatever she wants to stay in the band. Nice to hear something like this on cc mixter. Almost like being there.

Mmm-mmm. You and CSM have mixed up something really sweet, hot and delicious between you. Have you noticed, UD, that everyone wants to be part of your world tour? xx

I really appreciate and honour the fact you like to remain in the shadows. But i do wish as you have the luxury of a bunch of free vocals and the ears of the CC community that you would share a bit more info on how you make these great mixes. Or even a few stems to make us sound as good.
Just a thought. LS |

Firstly I am slightly dyslexic and so I find writing a bit of a strain.
The way I do mixes is as I have said before, I use the same technique that I have used since the early sixties I loop the Pella and play along with it either on a guitar or keyboard working out the chords and basic structure of the arrangement. The mixes always have a degree of live content and I mix it without any frills as I would a live band. I know I have the “free vocals and the ears of the CC community” and I really appreciate that. You can find stems some single parts and some complete backing tracks including the chord sheets I used under the individual tracks. I intended to do more last week but our power company had different ideas. |

Ok its a response sort of and i don’t want to add to your problems if its difficult to write. But you are being coy and have only stated what we all do. i.e Lay in the Capella and play along to it. My mixes have a degree of `live ’ content but you are creating a full band sound.
My question was more specifically are these samples, are you playing everything yourself, drums guitars, keys,? in fact the drums sound like a new studio record for every mix, i asked that question before, in fact it sounds like five people are playing at once for real. And Since the sixties,??? Dammit unreal give me a break here if you cant write it down, record a voice wav and send it me :-) You are making a perfect sounding band recording on your own. and so how did Da Vinci do what he did.. well he just got a canvas and put some diffrent coloured paint on it didnt he.? |
