A steady bass, the comping guitar and horn shots, and a turn at the mike with Panu Moon and snowflake: nirvana. Bartender! Tom Collins, please!

Thanks, Zapac. Your wah guitar worked very well after pitching up to E.

Smooth and clean funk. I like all the smaller vocal bits and more quiet jam-like quality of the last third or so.

Thanks, Speck. Yeah, I am partial to that part of the song myself.

Reduced the bass and drum gain on the outro to put a deeper chill on your vocal groove

Wes Armstrong of Atlanta’s The Rockerz. Right skill level of live and studio chops, but not him. Very good educated guess, Panu.

The tight snare and tight funk drum patterns are this player’s signature sound. Considered an innovator in funk drumming.

We have a Winner

U da mann! Yes, David Garibaldi

Some of the horns are recorded loops by Greg Adams, also a Tower of Power alumnus “:0)

I don’t know who the drummer is but the excellent dry and crisp drumming is what stands out in this mix.
TRF funk never fail. It’s a hit!

Thanks, Per. The drummer is the anchor with skills even though it’s just loops.
