To be honest, this kind of heavy rock normally isn’t what I like to hear. But the bass line catched my attention and now I’m even listening twice…

Heavier rock beats and rhythms are new to me; not a genre on playlists. As a learning exercise, I have been working with heavier drums, bass and guitar sounds. One more style on the project studio palette to fuse with others. |

I’m certainly not equipped to give mastering or mixing tips. But I did enjoy listening and really liked how the Byrne/Eno sample came in and how you integrated it with the funky guitar bit.

I misread this as “Texas Rock” (i.e. Texan brand of rock and roll), heh. But this was a nice surprise in any case. Not so much “heavy rock” in my list but something new. Maybe, “Rap Rock” or “Rap Metal”.
