Agreed. This track was a very rough demo, done in about 30mins- all I did was synch up the rap to your music. I just wanted to know how well it worked. I think something could be made of it, but as you say, the vocal has to be processed correctly as to sit in the mix and not overwhelm it as it seems to to do in this mix. I did try adding another back beat, but the original track is very percussively involved and I didn’t have time to get something together that didn’t clash. To be honest it was late at night and tired ears and headphones didn’t lend itself. Glad you enjoyed it anyway, and I will try and improve it with your suggestions.
