Has a nice 1920’s feel, like the work of some obscure genius archived in Willie Lomax’s lost outtakes reel. Good stuff!

very atmospheric, i like it very much . interestingly, i tried to use izotope vinyl recently (didn’t fit after all). it’s sitting in the vst folder for ages, unused and neglected. must give it a go. it probably works better for quieter, less busy mixes.

When I was done with this mix there were sounds, well, less than desirable, due to the quality of the original sample and then what I did to it. I knew I couldn’t clean it so I decided to enhance it. Did a search for free vinyl vst. My ‘mastering suite’ is Izotope, which I like, so I chose that one. I like it, but hope to not use it much.

I’m really moved by this piece. The piano sound remains intact so it is comforting in its familiarity, while the sonic manipulations speak of unknown possibilities. Truly lovely work.
