My first reaction is that completely assaults my senses.
I’m pleased as hell you could use the uploads, and applaud the mix of sources - and like where you’re going with this - especially after the first third or so. The intro doesn’t work so well for me - mostly because the bass and piano harmonies are mismatched (maj 7/min 7 chords). But the core idea here as chaotic as it seems at times holds together really well and has something to it. Thanks again for using the upload. |

this is literally like being on 25, standing in the hallway of a brownstone three-story walk-up in which all the doors are ajar. and everybody with chops is making a statement. i have to reflect on ornette coleman’s theory of harmolodics. it’s how we develop good jazz musicians. A++

Another glimpse into your complex mind, enhanced by your choice of samples each of which is particularly lovely, so when put together as here, remain sonically beguiling, despite the chaos. Good to know you feel better after that!

Works for me Speck :)
You have taken us on a journey to a dark place. Very cinematic in a chaotic sort of way, each component with a different agenda but all heading down a steep hill with no brakes. Each time it loops in my player I get what you were trying to achieve even more. Thanks for using the EP doodle :-D |

Love this. I’d like to have this playing as my coffin’s lowered into the ground.

…the creative process still has a purging effect. I feel much better now.
I don’t agree with you; it’s not a purging effect (like an enema), it’s the effect of a dose of drug that creates tolerance and addiction :) As far as I am concerned, continue with the ‘musicaine’, because I enjoy your mixes. Thank you. |
