Ah, I hear a little Nightmare Before Christmas influence here too. I like it.

So very lovely. Excellent writing and performing.

(The mix might be a bit loud - to my ears it sounds like clipping here and there - maybe you could have a quick look to see?)

thanks for bringing this to my attention — you are right and i will fix it. ironic, as most of my mixes are so quiet, i’ve been working on normalizing and raising the level — i guess i need to find a balance!

Lovely. Thanks for indulging me with this - it’s such a lovely performance and the extra work really paid off.

Exquisitely sad, haunting and beautiful. I love the ethereal purity of your singing on this piece. Really, really lovely, Snowflake. Wishing you happiness and to all those you love. xxxx

Moira, so lovely to hear from you. i can’t believe how long it has been since we dined with Susan and your lovely friends. thank you for taking the time to review this little ditty — and for all you give to the world of music at ccM. peace.

Ahhh… how I love this. Just the kind of morbid little ditty that gets me. Extra hugs for you, snowflake.

You are on roll! Nicely done. I have to agree with colab. I have an engineer friend here and he
never said I did a good mix lol. He told me which I have been doing lately, To bring the mix way down so you have tons of headroom. You can always raise the volume later. Other than that, it’s wonderful!

Haunting. Your voice in this register is like a magical creature.

Fragile and beautiful as a snowflake. I always admire someone who can surprise me, and I never would have imagined you’d appear in such a setting. You give me courage to push my own boundaries. Very cool.

I’m listening with my built-in iMac speakers. Don’t think I detected any clipping but does seem a bit too loud initially. I had to turn down the volume when the song started playing (btw I did that before reading the comments, so wasn’t an unconsciously biased action). But it’s just a minor point. Thanks for this song!
