this is a great lyric, Kahuna. full of humor & the kind of unspoken truth we all put up with because the urge to be entertained is in our d.n.a. and, yeah, in the big circus some of the monkey’s & clowns are overpaid. but you & i will still be makin’ music long after they’ve burned out & can’t come up with a couplet, or a real friend. i’ll take that action.
