i’m gonna call this the ‘austin city limits’ version. very soulful playin’ by the band. i hope you got the tag number on whoever was playin’ the drums, we need to keep his number in the rolodex! great production & a great job. thanks much.

I’ve just replaced the skins on that old pearl set thats been gathering way to much dust;-)
The drummer is my nerdy alter ego Eugene. Recorded with a ambient PCM room mic placed in the bathroom next to the studio with the door left open. Thankfully I don’t leave it on all the time though :-O) Now there’d be some good sounds for freesound. Thanks Panu |

Well firstly let me say thank God the fish heads gone! Not that I’m unaccustomed to the odd fish bonce out here in the Middle Kingdom but that eye kept un nerving me!
This chap looks a bit stressed out and reminds me of myself a few weeks ago when one of my new 500GB hard drives refused to be part of my band. The spotty geek who tried to reclaim the files did a grand job and to him I dedicate my next mix. Which features you on lead vox which brings me finally to your review!! Great drum recording and some nice keys. Not sure about the strangulated clarinet at the end but you’re still setting a high standard. So good on you cobber for that!! |

My new avatar represents me during a Tasman Sea flat spell and a mind numbing 44 deg C.
I found if I shave my head its much cooler but the Russians are complaining that the reflection is interfering with their satellites. I foolishly repitched the clarinet at the last minute so thats why it sounds like I’m strangling the cat. Did my pops and screeches pull a platter off your HD?@# I’m looking forward to hearing what you do with it. Cheers S |

So cool it’s straight from the fridge. I love it.
Your new picture reminds me of Vin Diesel after he’s torn to pieces one of those nasty alien monsters in ‘Pitch Black’. What next? |
