You know production issues aside you have got something going on here. It has a very Fleetwood Mac / Stevie Nicks fingerprint that with a bit of re organising could be really good.

Despressive ? Is that when you are when you are desperately depressed :-)

Thanks for the feedback. Fleetwood Mac is a flattering comparison.
Production issues abound I know, I did the mix late last night on the headphones (shhhhh! be quite - you know how it goes) nothing like my studio monitors at 11, I ended up getting the levels all wrong and this was magnified when turning it into an MP3. I’ll try to remix/rework it with a bit more sanity soon.

Hey thanks Slumberlord, good to see a fellow muso out there who knows the term “portamento”. The funny thing is while very fashionable 400 or so years ago, you listen to any commercial electronica these days and its full of instruments anticipating the vocal slide down - generally preceding the chorus. It was the vehicle to reach the “hook” then, and is a very easy/lazy way to get the listeners’ ears to follow the theme ie the essence of what makes a “pop” song. Apart from this my track sucks. A better example would be another I’ve posted called “Who broke the organ grinder.” Cheers Scomber
