I’m so glad you like it :) I wished the piano passage were longer as well, but now, as I listen, when the phrase surfaces — each time it’s so embraced because of its scarcity.

I like the pace, the vocals (which I’m saving, thanks), the relaxed percussion, the piano. I guess that’s me saying I like everything about this composition.

after I finished, I listened to etcetera and was assured they sounded nothing like each other — which is always a danger in dealing with themes, but probably never a concern when it’s you :)

Niiiiiice. I dig the lack of lyrics… it makes the emotional vocals more gripping in a way.

Lately, that has been my approach — because it is hard to “settle” on words when a song can have so many different meanings and shades depending on how the melody is interpreted. Thanks.
