Apart from certain small timing issues (the guitar against the toms for example), I really really like this (though this looseness may of been your intention). It has that fun element… infact, I should stop being to serious and just create something like this.
I know its not a short song, but I’m on my second listen, didn’t get enough the first time around… |

Thanks for listening twice once was enough for me:O)
You’re right about the loose timing and of course its intentional!! ( well hell what did you think I was going to say?) The last few mixes I have put up have all had guitars out of boxes and bits of percussion banged on. This is a combinatiion of my Taylor acoustic guitar and various tablas I found in my music store room. I could have quantised the audio files using Melodyne or even played them again in time (!!) but I thought the lived in look went better with AM’s style and anyway it sounded close enough to jazz to my ears! OK self justification over. Gotta go to get a new metronome!! |

I should add, 2 girls, no money and a box… Hell, I’m there ;-o

a very unique sound & feel to this. it reminds me a lot of extemporaneous jam sessions at the houses of certain hipsters during the 60’s. beyond genre, and very artfully done, RT.

Great sound RT. Love the straight poppy guitar. The story adds more flavour to Anchors pell.

Touching track! So it is you playing the guitar? Jesus!
There seem to be some time offs, but who cares. I do not! The overall mood is very pleasant. I like the bells in the beginning and the percussion somewhere in the middle especially. A song with a lot atmosphere! |
