Nice! I like the combination of active/propulsive beats and fairly mellow melodic bits, with a cool bass. I also like that after two listens, a listen to Kraftamt’s mix and a ‘refreshing my memory’ click on my own piece I’m still not entirely sure - is that my bass? (If so, love how you used it.) Or yours?

Hmmm…where to begin. I’ve always found stalking Speck to be a fruitful endeavor. Stir frying his bass line to the point of him having doubts if it is his isn’t easy. Kudos!

Figuring out how to take out some of the Sun Ra made your mix less esoteric (or less disorienting?) and lets the groove take center stage. The breakdown around 2:20 got my ancient head-bobbing-reflex going. Well done indeed!

Kraft’s beat adds a lot of tightening and focus, turning this into a nice simple chill beat, which was probably the hardest possible direction to take “improv” in.
