I like the retro electro minimal feel in this instrumentation, it might have been done with early 1980 drum machines and first popular “cheap” synths. (I had a DR-55 some time ago).

To be honest this should sound like a House track by Nora En Pure. But it simple did not get housish. Having eight tracks in Ableton live (lite) was a serious limitation for the first time.
But than I found the nice frequency shift in the EQ and the song started to sound more and more like something from Madonna’s album Music. Maybe if I had mangels the vocals a bit… Glad that you like it. :) |

Thanks. Once again the synths are made with Vital. Really love that tool.

I recall well my first secret mixter (which got me hooked to these events) and how the time to publish would not end.
I have broken the rules more than once….and I must admit the result is very cool. I don’t care that it is not house ;-). |

Awwww yeah! Upbeat, melodic, catchy, highly enjoyable listen. Makes it impossible to refrain from chair dancing. And congrats on your first Secret Mixter! Thanks for taking the leap. :D

Energizing and hypnotic! You followed the guidelines perfectly. :) I love the driving beat that keeps “bringing it back”.
