Very fine minimal rap, pregnant bass, but somewhere the percussion is too harsh for my ear.

Was there some Air Force 1 in there at the beginning? I like the soft musical pad elements. What kind of filter did you use on the drums?

Yes! That sound in the beginning supposed to be a reference to Airforce One or American power or something. I was hoping to find a sample of a Bush speech or something… or gunfighting or something.

Nice and groovy. I love those sounds you’ve got in there. Drum, bassline and that high key/bell(?). I’m definately going to sample that. : )

It’s actually a sample of a processed piano on NNXT. I made the melody and chords though. It’s definitely samle-able. :) Normally my grooves are complex but I enjoy trying to restrain myself and minimalizing things… :) I was really trying to focus on production and mixing here.

Yes, I like bells as well, they remind me Thomas Newman style….and airplane makes it even more “soundtrack”.
