Is The Electric Company still on? (I’m reminded of the classic Conjunction Junction, What’s Your Function?)
|
.
Whoa- this is totally in that direction. Had to do a search… it seems that “The Electric Company” is still on… the original aired from 1971-1977… the new version is on its 3rd season. I think “Conjunction Junction” is School House Rock, though.

Aargh… you’re right. It is School House Rock. By the way, watching your video led me to watching John Cleese’s rant on the same subject (except he seems to think all Americans say it incorrectly), which in turn led to many other John Cleese videos, so - that was fun.

Yesss… that’s an awesome video (John Cleese’s rant). I was on a similar trail a few months ago…

That video is awesome. What did you use to create it? Great job on the remix. It’s still ringing in my head.

Thank ya’ muchly, copperhead. I used a program called Crazy Talk. Another good one is Anime Studio. I find Crazy Talk to be more user friendly and Anime Studio more flexible ( here’s an example). Of course, I’m definitely still learning how this stuff works…

…EOM NRP - Tay? I cain’t care more at this point… on a more comprehensible note - linguistic spandrels, plasticity, memes, syntax …ad hoc modes of creative idiosyncratic glossolalia and the evolution of language is what makes your work so way groovy for me… keep it up. Love your style. |

Oh my, you crack me up. I’ll have to google some of those abbreviations now… After that, I’ll have to google the meaning of some of the words in your description of my work… ;) But I’ll thank you now for listening and appreciating my lyrical analyzation of this ridiculous colloquialism. Thanks, Anchor. :D

Next you’ve gotta do a song on the misuse of the word “literally”. That one drives me crazy. Recently I got a newsletter from a company that said “We were literally blown away by the response to our survey.” Sigh…

I am so very with you. This could become a series of songs… hmmm… Have you ever seen the animation “Clone High”? You reminded me of an episode called “ Litter Kills Literally”.

At first when you appeared here I thought you seemed funny and full of energy. Then I thought, she’s got genuine musical skills. Then I realized you were credible and relevant in everything you did. Now I love everything you do.

Thank you for sharing that. Your words are so incredibly kind. It’s hard to respond. :)
This is such an interesting site- all of these people (strangers) unleashing their innermost feelings through their music and interacting with (and supporting) folks who are doing the same… such a deep connection is formed with this musical bond… It’s so powerful when people who create music (and know music intimately) truly listen, get inspired, learn, interact. I think I’m just saying that your comment means a lot to me and the admiration is completely mutual. Thank you. |

. you’d have a field day in our company: they reach out to people and are being reached out to, jump on and off calls and turn issues around. going forward newly onboarded staff have to learn the newspeak.

Thanks for listening, annabloom! Hmmm… I am curious… what type business is this? (Feel free to send a e-mail if you prefer).
