Also good job with the pella - I worked with it before, and found it really difficult to sync. :) The bass and pella sound levels are a bit too far apart for me - the vocals dominate too much - but the matching of the drums with the pella is outstanding.
	. permalink MC Jack in the Box Thu, Mar 26, 2009 @ 12:04 PM thanks man. i hear you about the bass. pun intended. :) there’s parts of forensic’s rap where the volume might flucuate and sometimes the bass sits great and other times it seems a bit drowned out. i actually had it louder originally but liked it better a bit more in the background. although, it’s certainly a showcase worthy bass track, and i hope to do more with it at some point.

Irrespective of the style your mixes always have a clean sound which allows the various instruments to play their part and not get muddied in the overall production. So even if the musical genre is not my favourite one the mix can still be enjoyed on another level. Nice work!
