I’ll consider putting up an MP3, but my main focus is on using as much free software as possible to produce music and this includes the final audio format. Ogg is a free open source format, MP3 is not. This is sort of part of my philosophy as I also work as a free software developer/programmer releasing my work under related licenses (e.g., GPL). Anyway, for those who want to work with Ogg they can just get a supporting application, like Audacity. If a particular application does not support Ogg, then I personally consider it to be somewhat crippled.
