When I added the heavy kick drum in, it filled up the air and still let everything breath. I love that part of mixing, when you find that simple part that clicks everything together. Thanks for listening!

i love the clarity of this mix — how each sound is perfectly EQ’s and placed precisely in the stereo-field. the drum fills are delicious!! the variations of sound and rhythm in the last third of the track are particularly ear-catching. nice long, slow fade!

Fun tune, sounds much faster than 80 BPM. The drums have a marching element to them which drives the tune along.
