It’s lovely to hear you say it’s technically on, as this song’s first incarnation was scribbled staves on the back of passenger count sheets when I was still flying.

There are things I didn’t know my voice could do that are sprinkled in there. Making sound effects is fun.

	. permalink jacindae Tue, Oct 5, 2010 @ 11:30 AM I completely understand. On these polyphonic choral pieces I get the complex time signatures out of my system. FWIW, you can drop this piece into a 6/8 or 3/4 shell and while you won’t necessarily get comfy 16 measure repeats, you can keep a consistent beat behind it. I do know this has been a source of headache for a lot of people though…I do appreciate your kind words about this one though!! :)
