Hoo-wee! This is some fantastic rock, definitely got me pumped up :)
Love what you did with DeBenedictis’ vocals, a testament to your production skills!

Ps. Ed-picked :)

Thanks Aposode, this makes me very happy. The voice is beautiful but not made for uptempo. I am glad you love it.

Groovy rock radio song, H

Mixing delicate voices over rock rhythms is a challenge.

While the soft and delicate voice is not buried, it does not consistently sound out front. Also, in place feels like the snare is interfering with the voice.

Do you side-chaining the voice tracks/channels against your instrument bus?

Actually, it was a great challenge TRF! I spend most of the time trying the voice to fit. It was not easy. My wife said to me while listening to one of the final mix-versions in the car: “Boy, cant she just get a move on?”
Poor Lisa! As if it was her fault… So i felt bad and i doubled the voice three times and added a vocoder track to it. Which was, very good ears: sidechained.
And yes, i also pushed the deep frequencies in the snare to get some punch…maybe too hard. I rarely get such a deep feedback. Közönöm!!!!!

Great uptempo arrangement. Nice blend of instruments and vocals.
