This is an excellent mix eggman.
Its spoiled for me with the electronic interference sound thru the opening off the synth fall. It seems out of character to the rest of the funky setting. On headphones it feels like a migraine that clears once the rap drops proper . Still hitting the rec button though |

Normally I’m ot much of a hip hop fan but I gave this a listen cause it’s JLang… and it didn’t disappoint. Great work.
n9 ps - I was wondering if there was a reason for the electronic “fuzzing” at the beginning? It had me thinking that my headphones were on the fritz until it went away :-) |

hmmm… it seems the noisy bit at the beginning is getting the thumbs down. i put it in just to layer some noise so that when the sound does clear up and the beat kicks in properly there would be an extra, subtle bit of clearance. (not subtle enough it seems lol)
considering it now it may have been better to use a more hidden sound, faded in much closer to the chageover perhaps. think i’ll give that a go. anyway many thanks n9 and loveshadow for the kind words on the rest.. much appreciated! |

Great track, no problems for the buzz sound in the beginning. Sounds like introducing something special. Love this guitar which has a “isley brother” quality for me.
Really great groove that is spare but dense at the same time. |
