Sorry man, not real fond of the remaster. It feels over-compressed.
Imaging is completely gone. I see what you were trying to do in bringing the piano back out but all the air and space is gone. Kind of feels like a causality of the loudness wars. |

Haha I know what you mean. I’ll try working on that tomorrow but now for me it sounds ok. I just had to soften the sax a bit more as it was overshadowing the rest too much and bring piano and bass back upfront. Had no separate stem so I just demixed what you did using Martijn’s mix and inverting phase. This removed nearly all the piano and bass so I could put it back together again.

Jazz is my favourite genre and this is just so pretty and relaxing. I don’t know why it makes me think of a river flowing along but it does. Very, very nice.
