The pella is really beautiful and you’ve put some really nice and appropriately gothic (gothic not goth!) plucked out chord changes underneath it.

The build up is nice and powerful, and stepping back down when the vocals reemerge seems like the right thing to do.

I agree with AB - nice chording choices! And great atmosphere. And welcome to the Queenie fan club! I’m also amongst those captured by her writing and singing charms!

Great work! Love the sad mood that you’ve created with the chord changes. The guitar solo is not bad at all. A most pleasant listen

when just started the song I realized that there was an expectation of something really good, in fact they did. I know this ‘pell and I never thought of a treatment a la “Portishead / cool rock band” so successful, beautiful arrangements

i’m not gonna draw parallels to evanescence, because queenie has a better voice, the guitar playing & mix are tons better & i don’t have to watch the female vocalist jump off castle parapets in a black velvet dress. what a huge relief.

Lol, perhaps I should add a video for it. You’re so right, Queenie singing is much better than Evanescence. Thanks for comment.

Really beautiful, Donnie. I love the purity of queeniemusic’s pell combined with your fabulous b/t - it’s like mediaeval rock. xxxx

I like the soft voice versus the great strong guitars in the solo, very strong track, the distortion sound of the backing guitar in the solo adds the perfect dose of strongness
