Lovely work Don - elegant and alluring - a kind of warm nostalgic yearning for a forgotten time and place. Great use of the reblaw pella too.
Loved it.

This pella just makes me stare at the screen and forget what I was doing, what I should be doing is telling you how lovely this is—-yep and nice piano work.

It sounds like the two of you sat in the same room writing and recording together. Just beautiful!

I can hear you felt the attraction of the Bond like / John Barry like structure to this vocal.

Nicely played.

That’s exactly right! The pella sounds like it could be from 40 years ago. I like your rendition, too.

Just want to let you know that I keep listening to this song, even though it is so beautiful it hurts me — I must be a masochist! :)

obviously a well performed rendition - now how about letting the community really let you know what we think of it and upload the piano stem? ;)

I just put something up. I’m new at this: is is preferred to have an Mp3 file or AIFF?

Thanks….

Sometimes there’s water standing in a place in which it makes perfect sense for water to stand—like a dormant fountain or a quiet birdbath.
Sometimes in the middle of an otherwise calm surface you see a single spot, radiating outward.
The sheer physics of the spread of the wave across the water fascinates—a sync with something familiar and yet ineffable. This mix feels like the moment that the drop hits the surface of the water, just before the impact radiates like waves of light across calm morning waters.
