Nice sound and build to the vocals.
As a self confessed Brad tragic, I’ve had multiple attempts at this pell but have found the pitch and key difficult and never uploaded my butchered results.
No need now, I’ll just listen to yours, you nailed it!

Yeah, G#Min7 is a weird thing to listen to, It’s not something you can really identify right off the bat. The chord progression isn’t normal, it’s all back and forth and whatnot. A trick I do, and this works great for male vocals, is try to learn the chords by figuring out the bass track first, from there you can rule out a lot of notes and figure out the roots a lot faster.

You have the patience of a saint, man (or should I say a soldier)
If I can’t pick it 30 seconds, I generally move on. Nice technique pickn the key.

I ve got your idea.the only thing I wouldnt use this piano with the vocal.
if you wanna have a NO.1 piano sounds look after The Perfect Piano sampler cd by Kurzweil.its only 320 mb.but best ever i ve heard!
(forget about lots of cr@p 200gb Piano vst stuffs:D)
Drumms are matching perfectly with the vocal.keep on!

I have a ton of piano sets, seriously. I just kept this one because I started with it and felt sorta loyal after the first few chords made sense. Yeah I know it is definitely not the best piano out there, Sometimes though I get tired of shuffling sound sets, and I guess my desire to finish a track quick got to me on this one. Thanks for the suggestion though, I’ll put it into consideration. (I think I have a huge Kurzwiel piano laying around in my old soundfonts somewhere but I don’t remember)

I see.Sometimes the whole track depends on this things…
Unnecessary to hold it tons of pianos.hold 2 set which is great!
i am kidding(a half):)
I wouldnt recommend any soundfonts stuffs.only real samples.
the sampler what i mentioned 2 disk and 5-6 type of piano) Each disk).
you can hear in my Ophelias song how is it sounds.(its Steinway dark)
BTW try the piano with the vocal without any other instrument.if its outstanding than keep that;)
I hope you dont mind this I just speak too much sometimes:D

Thanks for all the suggestions, and the link, I’ll check that out. I probably won’t come back to that track for a hot minute, but when I hit a mental roadblock I usually touch up on previous tracks. Thanks dude.
