Cool intro! A big, percussive sound settles in to mingle with the light drone. The little keyboard melody is very nice. The morphed vocals are an unexpected variation. Like good darkwave, this song hearkens back to an earlier time in post-punk electronica but is not enslaved by it. It’s a bit like listening to lyrics in a foreign language, which leads me to wonder what the original lyrics said (and determined to hear the original sample). A very inventive mix—I like it.

Thank you, sounds like we’ve walked some same paths through the music :)

The vocals are “sung” by me, and they are in Finnish. I added the lyrics and a rough translation to the song description.

The vocals I’ve run through vocoder were a rough take early in the morning while having flu, so if I ever release the acappella, it will require a second recording session.

Besides the vocals and drums, all the other sounds are from darkangell’s song, and the “Lead” sample (the most trance synth) was the only one not used in my mix. I’ll write the “How I Did It” to reveal the black magic behind the mix.

I can only endorse gordunark comments on this. I really love the treatment you gave the samples and the soundscape you created. When I was listening I thought of the white cube contest and then I read your explanation, so you really captured the wright feel.

Funny to read your translation explanation about one sentence being used twice, as I think allmost nobody understands finnish
