Nicely done. I was working on that Admiral Bob vocal for a song and didn’t consider to use it that way. I like what you did with Kara’s vox too.

Thanks! I originally planned to go in a somewhat different direction, until a friend sent me the XILS 5000 VST plugin for my DAW, then I sort of experimented, and a hard sound made better sense :-) I even gave the screaming guitar solo a touch of the vocoder, just enough to add an extra punch.

It’s always a joy to work with your pells. I remixed DJ Death several years ago for the Halloween event, but I was never fully satisfied with the way it turned out, so I thought 2020 was the perfect time to revisit it, and make them slow and spookier, with a less “fun”, dark side. Adding Admiral Bob’s Are You Scared Yet chorus was a bonus, since I still have his excellent pell on my drive. The new vocoder plugin made my mind up for me :-) I’m very happy with this song, call it a “reprise”.
