the snare sample is easy on my ears(usally peoples snare samples sound to fruitloopish or annoying)

Can’t tell you how disappointed I am that your entry came in under the wire because, in my albeit meaningless opinion we have a winner here. Why? Well for one thing I’ve listened to all the entries (Gawd, that’s an afternoon I’ll never get back) and aside from my entry and MatrixAndDappa, your entry stands out because you actually LISTENED to the vocal track and deconstructed the phrasing. Then you had the nerve to reconstruct it into something MUSICAL.

Plus I think this is exactly what curve is looking for - a purplenurple-like tweek of what they do that is recognizable as such but also classically representative of what is thought of as remix culture (you know, playing with time and space). Whilst my entry is a classic somba production that simply puts better music than the music provided under the provided vocal track. Damn, I’m stupid! Kudos to you.

Very nice. Everything is right on time.

Tight beat…the shakers really drive it along. I like the dubbed-out vocals, a nice contrast to the guitar , which is nice and bright. The whole piece has a good head-nod factor.
