Way dreamy rock and so brightly mixed, this one expands the space for sure :)
Soft strings and soft vocals just glow so well in between and also with your spoken word.
I hope you keep the abrupt end, it sounds super cool as its juxxed :)

It’s a groove.

The trumpet additions to the base song is perfect.

Feels like walking through a sunny neighborhood.

A really crystal clear sound, with a groove laden bass, crystal clear guitars, and the heavenly trumpet :)

Lots of great stuff in here, but for me what stands out is the bass line, answering the question: what if Kim Deal worked with generous, optimistic, kind people instead of angry punks all the time?

I say this as a *rabid* Pixies fan.

In Italy we had Battiato, an electronic producer and singer, who shaked us with an album with apparently simple music and deep lyrics. Today he is considered one of our main pop composers. This tune reminds me Battiato, it has a positive vibe and sage words, intertwining patterns - I adore it, i will download and keep it in my mp3 player - and the Battiato experience drives me thinking that this could have a much wider arena than a small group of secret mixers. I would edpick if I could

Grazie. I am moved by your kind words. And thank you for telling me about Battiato. I’m going to listen to him now.

I am pulled in immediately by the uplifting hook of that opening riff and then the magic just keeps going from there. I love hearing you and J share the mic. Powerful words Susan. What a beautiful collaboration!

Thanks, but I mean the whole song, with drums, the trumpet, etc. :)
