I’m diggin’ this, SackJo. Big time. Love the use of SmoJos’ drums… they push the mix forward… add a great feel. Your vocal additions to spin’s pell are wonderful… Very cool use of everything. Plus, your game of using as many folks as possible is super-fun. Right on all around!

A headphone mix that I listened to on BlackBerry speakers. :)

It has a detective movie type of feel to it, layered with mystical sounds and choice voice parts. I think it is great that you talked your offspring into adding to this. :)

Thanks Admiral! I coaxed her into uploading a few samples actually. It’s too bad we’re not really set up for recording drums…something to aspire for this year — drum mics!

Trippy. That snare drum track really keeps it going. It’s a loose focus, the kind I like, gives our minds room to roam. At the same time it’s fun to hear all that’s going on and how it interacts.

Thanks Speck. When I heard the drum track, I knew I wanted to do something with it — of course, I had no idea this is what I would end up with which is often happens when I do a sonic-collage type remix.
